Provide finance and accounting technical knowledge and execution to GBS and Financial Department in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, general accounting, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and general ledger maintenance.
Your responsibilities include:
- Provide accounting support to GBS and Financial Department in the maintenance of balance sheet accounts and prepare annual and monthly reports. Ensure compliance with internal controls in the financial area and international SOX requirements.
- Execute general ledger accounting records, journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Creation and maintenance of DTPs/SOPs.
- Involvement in multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge: An entry-level professional. Applies general knowledge and technical concepts to resolve issues. Demonstrates beginning knowledge of industry practices.
- Problem Solving: Applies professional concepts, analyzes data, and recommends solutions. Follows standard practices to solve problems.
- Planning and Organization: Plans, organizes, and prioritizes daily work to meet set schedules with guidance.
- Discretion/Latitude; Supervision Received; Decision Making: Receives supervision, makes recommendations reviewed by managers. Seeks guidance in problem-solving.
- Business Relationships and Project Management: Builds internal business relationships and carries out tasks efficiently. May join project teams.
- Impact: Contributes to departmental projects and goals. Errors may necessitate resource expenditure to rectify.
- Liaison: Communicates with internal and occasional external contacts, demonstrating discretion and diplomacy.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- SAP experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- English proficiency of 80% or above.
- Ability to work independently.
- Customer relationship skills with service orientation.
- Experience in a shared service environment is a plus.
- Holds self-accountable and strives for performance excellence.
- Strong integrity.
- Respectful towards others.
- Actively seeks ways to enhance work efficiency.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork.
