ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

  • Prepare recurring and adhoc reports as per agreed timeline to allow end markets review and analysis.
  • Oversee general ledger accounts reconciliations within the function and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor monthend activities ensuring accurately and period is closed as per agreed timetable.
  • Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely execution of SOX controls.
  • Communicate with stakeholders by solving issues, providing guidance, and promoting a customeroriented culture.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review established workflow and identify areas for improvement and escalate.
  • Review escalated issues and resolve in a timely manner.

Internal - GBS - collaborate closely with other GBS's (Asia, Romania) to provide an excellent service to the end market (USA Mainly).***

  • Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end markets.
  • Issues are escalated following escalation process.
  • Processes are adhered to RACM and Internal Controls.
  • Achieved a high degree customer satisfaction at year end.
  • Continuous Improvement initiatives and quantify benefits once implemented.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

  • 5+ years' experience in a multinational company.
  • Knowledge of statutory and management accounting principles for the countries within AMER is an advantage.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory, Management and other relevant reporting.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • MS Office
  • Medium/Advanced level.
  • Coordinate and plan activities by using time efficiently.
  • Prioritize and give visibility on the workload in a given time.
  • Capable of backing up any role within the team.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree
  • Bachelor's in Accounting (Desired) [if you are still an undergraduate, you may be required to submit a college transcript]
  • English at least B2.
