TMF Group is looking for a bilingual Bid Manager with at least 3 years of experience preparing economic proposals to work in a hybrid modality from Bogotá, Mexico City or San José.


Job Purpose/Role


This position will be a key function in the Global Bid Management team, supporting Global Sales in their preparation of complex proposals.

The Bid Manager will be focused on preparing proposal responses using our proposal automation platform, Loopio, preparing and consolidating fees, and managing requests and responses from within the organisation.

The role will manage formal RFI/ RFPs, bespoke proposals, as well as support the Sales/ Global Bid Managers on existing clients rebids and complex opportunities.

This is an intermediate role in the Global Bid Management team, with ownership of bid responses and pricing as well as support for Global Bid Managers on highly complex and strategic deals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Global Bid Managers to support Global Deals (all Practices).
  • Ownership and management of global and regional proposals; coordinate communications, deliverables and schedules/bid plans utilising our Proposal automation tool, Loopio.
  • Prepare and consolidate commercial fees received from standard price books and/or multiple countries.
  • Review and support changes to pricing proposals prepared by Business Developers, in conjunction with Solutions teams.
  • Monitor the ongoing status of assigned tasks and facilitate calls to discuss progress or issues.
  • Assist in final production of global and regional proposals according to specifications including review, proof reading and editing of responses.
  • Administrative, as well as content reviews and support in Loopio for the system management and support of Business Developers utilising the tool.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • College Degree in related professional careers.
  • English Fluency (C1)
  • Organized, with good time management skills
  • Analytical and logical thinking
  • Proactive, problem solving
  • First experience in bid management is preferred, but not required
  • Good Microsoft user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English, fluency in Spanish is advantage
  • Selflearner, who is able and willing to learn from experience
