Main responsibilities:

This position will be the regional leader for Intercompany in the GBS that is responsible of the billing and accounting of all the transactions between KC affiliates, including sales of hard goods, spare parts, services, expatriates and royalties as well as the Intercompany Services Invoicing through GIST. The leader will provide leadership on CFI's and GAAP compliance matters within these processes and will oversee the month-end closing process for intercompany payables and receivables. The position will provide leadership and development to a team that will be interacting with other areas of the GBS, Finance and Taxes of their corresponding region.

Influence, coordinate and provide project management expertise to relevant Global, Regional or sub-regional teams in developing and executing the Intercompany invoicing (trade, services, royalties, spare parts, expatriates and all the intercompany sales for Latin America countries) through the Global Intercompany Services Invoicing Tool (GIST). Drive implementation of continuous improvement projects that help increase the efficiencies of business processes and customer service levels. Establish and ensure a standard methodology and process for the management, central collection of Global, Regional and Sub-regional Costs and their invoicing between and among all KC entities. Design internal procedures that guarantee a constant analysis of the Tax implications of the invoicing procedures, assuring the correct application of the different tax burden on the different countries. Develop and put in place a process for gathering and keep control of the Legal and Tax requirements of each country to assure Tax deductibility and correct payment of the monthly invoices. Implement, along with the Global Finance and Tax departments the right support documentation process to meet the business needs that ensures the correct tax application Lead the intercompany team professionals. Establish objectives and delivers results that have a significant impact within the context of the intercompany area as the Cash Conversion Cycle. Empower the team to be accountable of its processes, performance and the accomplish of the objectives of the area Implement departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Provide technical guidance, coaching and counseling for the intercompany team. Act as the liaison between the GBS and the International Trade, Taxes, Finance and Supply Chain teams for intercompany charges. Coordinate along with the Global Process Owner and Tartan teams any upgrade or improvement of the Global Invoicing tool as well as the solution of any issue raised from the business. Ensure compliance and adherence to the CFIs, policies and procedures for all Intercompany transactions. Ensure a correct application of the global recharges between NA and all the other regions: Royalties (both KC and third party), Expats, Relocation Expenses and Global Services (ITS, Global Security, Procurement, Marketing, etc.) / Provide all the regions with the requested detail for those charges, and ensure all the invoices comply with the arm ́s length principle and the guidelines included in the respective contracts.

Experience and requirements:

Bachelor's university professional qualification in economics, accounting or other business-related disciplines. MBA in related fields is desire. Minimum of five years of relevant experience in RTR or taxes, Must have an advanced English level due the relation and constant communication with all the regions around the Globe. Portuguese or third language is a plus. Ability to work under pressure with good problem-solving skills. The position requires to have a demonstrable history of leading teams across regions, countries, and business lines. Broad knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, thorough knowledge of KCs CIF ́s programs and processes within intercompany matters, excellent SAP skills in the areas of FI, CO, AR and AP.
