Job Description

:

This role will help with the administration and support for the implementation and maintenance of the Global benefits plans, services, and activities according to the applicable regulations, tax and labor laws, and WVI benefit programs. May provide administrative support for external reviews of WVI local benefits.

Major Responsibilities

Monitor, log, direct, and/or address US/IA employee benefit inquiries, questions, and issues; serve as first point of contact for employees on benefit-related topics; Desired outcomes: provide a positive employee experience with timely and accurate information. Primary responsibility to maintain accurate US/IA benefit documentation, forms, information libraries, and reference materials for the organization; subject matter expert on benefit-related policies and procedures; partners directly with the assigned member of the P&C communications team on publications, postings, and links found on the organization’s intranet site . Desired outcomes: accurate and easily-accessible benefits materials and information. Coordinate theimplementation and logistics of US/IA benefit programs and related activities such as vendor events (e.g., benefit open house, blood drive, vendor-provided seminars, etc.); play an important role in the annual benefits open enrollment process focused on communications, materials, and schedule. Desired outcomes: champion a seamless benefit program delivery execution. Partner with the benefit leadership team onproviding US/IA benefit program assessment of efficacy, cost effectiveness, service level agreements, appropriateness, and competitiveness; participate in the annual discussions regarding program review and renewals. Desired outcomes: provide timely input and insight into program results for future considerations. Shared responsibility forUS/IA benefit systems and reporting including Workday and vendor systems; researches and resolves user experience issues (logging in), reporting and data interface errors, data accuracy, and table maintenance (e.g., for Open Enrollment). Desired outcomes: able to quickly identify and resolve benefit system issues. Primary responsibility for monitoring and administering for the US/IA WVI wellness and the US leave of absence programs; primary employee point of contact for these programs. Desired outcomes: accurate and timely administration of programs.  Partner with P&C designate onUS/IA benefit plan billing, utilization reports, financial accountability and tracking. Desired outcomes: timely and accurate payment to vendors.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Health and welfare benefits administration experience is required. Good written and verbal communication skills, including both listening and speaking in English. Demonstrated ability to work with peers in a collaborative environment, and alone in an entrepreneurial environment, and to continually support the team. Spanish or French is a plus. Ability to speak multiple languages and/or experience working overseas. Bachelor’s or similar undergraduate-level degree in HR or Compensation/Benefits Certification. Preferred minimum of three years' experience in US Benefits, Open enrolment, Workday, and US Leave Management. Preferred minimum of three years' experience in a corporate environment.
