Tax Analyst

Responsibilities:

Prepare federal & state tax returns and workpapers for US Companies Assist with the rollforward and preparation of Tax Depreciation calculations for both federal and non-conforming states Assist with the review of US state tax apportionment requests Assist with compiling the New York sales by City reports necessary for New York state & city income tax return filings

Qualifications:

Advanced Excel Skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage data volume Ability & willingness to learn new software tools Ability to manage workload without direct supervision as position will be remote Proficiency with tax return preparation software (preferred) Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Applications (preferred). This position requires a Licenciatura (or Master’s) degree in Accounting or Finance Authorized Public Accountant (preferred) 3 to 7 years of experience preparing and/or reviewing federal and state tax returns for large multi-state companies US Federal & State tax compliance experience for manufacturing entities Mid-Size to Large Public Accounting experience, or large industry experience (preferred)
