Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Supervisor to lead Demand review and Supply Planning Processes (SPP). The role includes managing the Master Production Plan, Capacity Planning, MRB inputs, and New Products (NP) operational planning, aligning with company requirements and supply chain standards to ensure timely product supply to our Bottlers. The successful candidate will coordinate Supply Point Shifts and BCP shipments, considering the entire supply chain impact, and work closely with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and support new product launches.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Supply Planning:

Execute monthly Planning and Supply Planning Process by developing efficient Production Plans and SPP reports, balancing plant capacity and customer needs, including internal processes for New Products execution. Maximize usage of the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) modules for supply, demand, and inventory optimization to implement production strategies.

Inventory Management:

Ensure appropriate inventory parametrization and level for finished products in collaboration with the Inventory Analyst, considering IBP's Inventory Optimization results and other external inputs. Actively participate in and support the Material Review Board (MRB) process to maximize cost avoidance and reduce write-offs.

Material Master Data and NP Internal Coordination:

Coordinate and execute internal activities for NP launches to guarantee timely shipments. Ensure the timely creation and activation of Material Master Data records to support New Product launches.

Capacity Planning & Rough-Cut Capacity (RCC):

Analyze the impact of missing parts on the production plan to balance productivity and supply continuity. Provide cross-functional teams with detailed requirement reports to fulfill customer needs. Balance the weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS), coordinate and monitor the compliance with the Scheduler for short-term production execution. Analyze long-term capacity planning to identify seasonality, bottlenecks, constraints, and the impact of New Products and business growth.

People:

The Planning Supervisor will be responsible for the development and leadership of a planning structure. This role will coordinate effectively with key support areas such as Demand, Customer Services, and Production to ensure process Alignment and improvement. Also:

Ensure coordination with all functional areas to ensure product availability. Provide essential information for the Customer Service & Demand team. Contribute to environmental care and to a healthy Process, eliminating wastes and generating improvements flows across the supply chain. Lead, motivate, and manage the Analysts team to achieve Service and Cost objectives of the Plant.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience:  Minimum of 5 years of Supply Planning process or equivalent responsibility Education:  University/Bachelor’s Degree Languages:  Fully bilingual in Spanish-English is desirable. Technical Skills and Certifications: IBP or S&OP knowledge requiredProficiency in SAP.Power BI experience (desirable).

Additional Information:

The Planning Supervisor plays a crucial role in analyzing plan data, leveling resources, and optimizing capacity usage to meet stakeholder requirements effectively. Strong leadership and team management skills. Strong communication skills for coordinating cross-functional teams are essential. Ability to clearly articulate ideas, expectations, and feedback to team members and cross-functional partners. Proficient in facilitating meetings and discussions to drive alignment and resolve conflicts. Skilled in writing clear and concise reports, emails, and presentations for various stakeholders. Adept at active listening to understand concerns and viewpoints from different functional areas. Experience in influencing and persuading stakeholders to achieve consensus and collaborative decision-making. This role plays a critical role in the development and adoption of new digital tools and use cases in the End-to-End Supply Process, being a change agent and leading the path for the rest of the team.
