About The Team The SBO Global Ops & Transformation team designs, scales, and continuously enhances the Store Back Office operating model across North America and international markets. The team focuses on operational excellence, process transformation, automation, data-driven decision making, and AI adoption to simplify operations, improve supplier experience, strengthen controls, and increase productivity. Collaborating closely with Business, Product, and Technology teams, the group builds a scalable global platform that supports market expansion, standardization, and long-term value creation. About The Role
As a Manager, Store Back Office Operations, you will lead a critical shrink prevention value stream while driving transformation initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, strengthen controls, reduce administrative shrink, and enhance operational efficiency across LATAM markets. This position requires a strategic and analytical leader with deep inventory management expertise, a passion for process transformation, and the ability to influence outcomes across Business, Product, and Technology teams. You will serve as the business owner for inventory analytics, performance management, and modernization initiatives, translating operational challenges into scalable solutions that deliver measurable business impact. The ideal candidate combines strong operational knowledge with experience leveraging data, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to redesign processes, improve controls, and enable proactive decision-making. This role plays a key part in shaping the future-state operating model for Store Back Office Operations across the region.

What you'll do
Lead inventory accuracy controls from SBO, administrative shrink reduction, and operational improvement initiatives across LATAM markets. Own and continuously evolve inventory-related value streams within SBO, driving standardization, scalability, and operational excellence. Partner with Operations, Finance, Asset Protection, Product, and Technology teams to design and implement future-state inventory processes. Translate operational pain points and business needs into technology, analytics, and automation requirements. Drive process redesign efforts to eliminate waste, simplify workflows, and improve scalability. Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies to improve operational performance. Establish and manage key inventory, shrink, operational, and financial performance metrics. Develop executive-ready dashboards, scorecards, and insights that support strategic decision making. Lead pilots, user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and adoption activities for new solutions. Conduct root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, control gaps, and performance issues while driving sustainable corrective actions. Build strong partnerships across regional and global stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate transformation outcomes. Mentor and develop analysts while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. What you'll bring Strong expertise in inventory management, controls, reconciliation processes, and inventory accuracy methodologies. Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, automation, or business transformation initiatives. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and performance management frameworks. Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority. Knowledge of process redesign, operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Experience working with business intelligence and analytics platforms, including Power BI, Tableau, SQL, BigQuery, or similar tools. Ability to balance strategic thinking with excellence in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to senior leadership. High level of ownership, accountability, and customer focus. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in inventory operations, inventory management, retail operations, supply chain, finance, analytics, or related business functions. Experience leading cross-functional projects, process improvements, or transformation initiatives. Experience using data analytics to drive operational decision making and performance improvement. Experience building business cases and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, risk reduction, and scalability. Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading inventory transformation, shrink reduction, or inventory control programs in a retail environment. Experience partnering with Product, Technology, Automation, FinTech, or Digital Transformation teams. Advanced knowledge of Power BI, SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar analytical tools. Experience with automation technologies, RPA, Artificial Intelligence, GenAI, Machine Learning, or workflow optimization solutions. Experience supporting multiple international markets or regional operations. Advanced English proficiency. Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Agile, Product Ownership, or related certifications.
