Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to support inbound drayage and outbound transportation operations for package and bulk shipments. This role will coordinate closely with internal teams, transportation providers, customs brokers, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure timely shipment movement, accurate documentation, and strong operational visibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations and be comfortable managing multiple priorities, following up with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting transportation issues, and maintaining accurate shipment information and documentation. This is a hands-on coordination role that requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for inbound drayage and outbound transportation inquiries across internal departments, including Customer Service, Sales Business Units, Finance, and Inventory Management. Maintain strong working relationships with drayage providers, customs brokers, vendors, and third-party partners to support receiving, delivery, documentation follow-up, and shipment visibility. Troubleshoot drayage and transportation issues, including terminal appointments, damaged containers, empty returns, delays, and other operational exceptions. Follow up on shipping and import documentation, including Importer Security Filings, original Bills of Lading, vendor import documents, and Bulk FTZ outbound shipment reconciliation documents. Audit, validate, and approve drayage invoices for accuracy and alignment with agreed rates and services performed. Update, upload, monitor, and maintain shipping and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) data in F&O for package freight, ISO tanks, airfreight, and small-package shipments. Prepare and distribute weekly warehouse arrival reports and monthly drayage schedules to support planning, receiving, customs brokers, drayage providers, and operational visibility. Benchmark drayage rates and share relevant market updates and transportation trends. Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with transportation and drayage providers. Develop, maintain, and monitor inbound transportation KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain accurate transportation records, schedules, documentation, and system updates. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Inventory Management, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of transportation-related issues. Identify opportunities to improve transportation processes, shipment visibility, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related operational environment preferred. Working knowledge of supply chain processes, including shipping, warehousing, drayage, transportation, scheduling, and shipment tracking. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve operational issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills for working effectively with internal departments and external partners. Experience working with transportation providers, drayage companies, customs brokers, vendors, or third-party logistics providers is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and system information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn and effectively utilize ERP and F&O systems. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Availability to attend in-person training in the U.
S. Advanced English level. Preferred
Qualifications:

Experience working with containerized freight, bulk shipments, ISO tanks, airfreight, or small-package shipments. Experience supporting FTZ-related processes. Experience auditing transportation invoices and validating freight rates. Experience with transportation rate benchmarking and vendor performance reviews. Experience developing or monitoring transportation, logistics, or supply chain KPIs. Experience preparing operational reports, warehouse arrival reports, and transportation schedules. Experience working with international suppliers, customers, or third-party logistics providers. Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or international supply chain environments.
