Costa Rica Mode: Remote. We at Coforge are hiring Senior Backend Engineer (#20921-22-6) with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend solutions using modern programming languages such as Java or Kotlin.
• Contribute to the development and operation of large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Continuously learn, adapt, and take on new technical challenges in a dynamic environment. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with no prior experience.
• Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or similar.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges. Preferred
Skills:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to large-scale, high-performance, and resilient backend environments.
• Strong adaptability and interest in learning new technologies and tackling new technical challenges.
