San José, Costa Rica Mode: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week on-site We at Coforge are hiring Senior DevOps Engineer (#006fu00000QeELXAA3-6) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop object-oriented Python and Bash scripts and tools to automate operational tasks and process large volumes of REST API data.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and other Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and the DevOps toolchain, including GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Troubleshoot production environments, manage Kubernetes and containerized workloads, strengthen monitoring and security, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate automation, troubleshooting, and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience developing object-oriented Python and Bash scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience processing and integrating data through REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, containers, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying, managing, and upgrading Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security best practices, patching, and hardening within DevOps environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT for scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation. Preferred

Skills:
• Experience driving root-cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes for production issues.
• Strong infrastructure automation and operational problem-solving skills.
• Experience proactively improving monitoring, alerting, and platform reliability.
• Ability to share AI-assisted development and automation best practices across engineering teams.
