BI Reporting/ Automation Engineer

Seeking a highly motivated and driven BI Reporting/ Automation Engineer to join the Infra&Ops Global Process Reporting and Governance team. The ideal candidate isn't just a creator but a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This dynamic role will be instrumental in bringing operational data to life, creating compelling visual stories, and solving complex problems. Beyond extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) large complex datapoints, ensuring the utmost data quality, accuracy, and accessibility for key operations and analytics, you will collaborate and support teams across the globe solving complex data challenges and creating new insights and opportunities.

What you'll do

• Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and managing of the Centralized Patch Management database
• Practical experience deploying and integrating into Google Cloud using Big Query, Looker Studio, and other Cloud-based tools
• Automate tasks using GitHub & Python and have the ability to analyze data effectively to conclude technical decisions
• Develop Executive level dashboards for business leaders to review and set strategies
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot, and provide resolutions to database issues
• Incorporate new data sources, tools, and functionality to enable optimization
• Partner with a variety of technology and business operations teams to ensure seamless data transmission for the end to end patch management and other operational workflows
• Responsible for identifying enhancements, defining requirements, and assisting toolset owners in the prioritizing, development, testing, and implementation
• Ensure that the end to end Patch Management reporting workflow, processes, and procedures adhere to Equifax IT & Security policies and standards
• Ensure that workflow documentation is up to date
• Work closely with Patch Management and other global teams to ensure consistency in communication and governance
  Identify inconsistencies and support technology development teams with regression testing activities

What experience you need

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, or Data Engineering role, with a proven focus on enterprise-level data analysis and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing cloud-based reporting and BI tools. Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, including BigQuery, and data visualization tools like Looker Studio (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of data modeling, including analyzing business requirements, designing dimensional and relational data models (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake), and developing ETL/ELT processes.
• 3+ years of experience in extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL/ELT) data from diverse source systems, with a focus on data automation, quality, and pipeline efficiency.
• 5+ years of experience with database management and development, including advanced SQL proficiency and experience with various Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
  3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and configuration management tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, or similar enterprise platforms.
