ROLE PURPOSE:
The position will have overall responsibility for LSEG's Latin America tax compliance and provision. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and shape the future of the Latin America tax operations team at LSEG.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the Latin America direct tax compliance and tax reporting function by partnering with in-house staff and out-source providers, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring all obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Assist in tax research to stay updated on changes in Latin America tax laws
• Oversee the vendor billing processes including budget and invoice tracking and review
• Support tax audits by collecting and organizing information, ensuring timely responses to requests, and staying informed on audit developments
• Maintain records and calculations of Uncertain Tax Positions

Key skill & experience:

• Extensive experience of tax compliance and reporting experience in the LatAm region.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required
• Advanced Excel skills required
• ERP systems experience preferably with SAP, Oracle and/or HFM
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Strong organization and project management skills required
• Must work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Effective interaction with other team members and external advisers is imperative
