We're looking for
Staff Accountant
candidates to support our month-end close operations and financial reporting. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and operations teams.

The successful candidate will handle
core accounting responsibilities
including month-end close execution, sub-ledger management, general ledger reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis. They'll prepare monthly variance analyses with detailed explanations for stakeholders and maintain our financial controls and compliance requirements. Responsible for the
VAT month end closing
activities for multiple accounts, preparation of monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations, tax journal entries, as well as assist with the tax reporting process and other tax analyses.

In addition, this person will be a key driver to improve the quality of the VAT general ledger account reconciliations. The expertise of LATAM VAT/WHT regulations and the impact to the accounts payable and receivable processes will provide important intelligence to safeguard financial statements and enable scalable new business launches.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on transactional accounting experience
  • Proven experience with month-end close processes, execution of tax journal entries, variance analysis.
  • Sub-ledger management and balance sheet reconciliation (Reconciliation certification process cycle in Blackline, QuickBooks, eRecon)
  • B2 English proficiency (both written and verbal communication)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Availability to work full-time onsite at our offices 5 days per week

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Financial Applications
  • Track record of participating in continuous improvement projects with measurable results
  • Background in operational excellence and process improvement
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or similar methodologies
  • Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated work style
