Role Description

Part-time/Freelance App Tester required for a crowd testing project with a leading International Car booking app. Role involves Android & iOS testing with a focus on payment gateway validation to ensure smooth and secure transactions. Engagement duration: 6 months to 1 year.

Job Type: Part-time | Freelance | QA Freshers

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: 8 hours/week (Monday–Tuesday) for a 6-month to 1-year contract

Location: Costa Rica residents only

Pay: USD 200–250 per 4 weeks (upon completion of all payment gateway testing)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
  • Validate user flows, usability, and overall functionality
  • Execute payment gateway testing (Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay) across defined test scenarios
  • Identify, document, and report defects with clear evidence
  • Share test reports with the QA Team Lead
  • Adhere strictly to testing instructions and timelines

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Freelancers / Part-timers preferred (QA Freshers with basic testing knowledge may apply)
  • Prior testing experience is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with task-based, contract payments

MUST HAVE

  • An active credit/debit card for testing purposes
  • Active payment gateway accounts (PayPal)
  • Access to both Android and iOS mobile devices
  • If any requirement is not currently available, the candidate must be able to arrange it
