Accounts Receivable – Intern (1-Year Temporary Position)

Location: Escazú

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with several in-office days per week

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Intern responsible for managing and collecting outstanding receivables from accounts with past-due balances. The main objective of this role is to ensure timely collections and follow up on disputed invoices in accordance with company policies to prevent delays or cancellations.

Role Expectations 

  • Manage an assigned account portfolio.
  • Perform collection activities following the established collections process.
  • Interact with teams involved in customer payments.
  • Collaborate with the commercial/sales team to help achieve organizational goals.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and perform cash application tasks, including posting and reconciling AR transactions.

What We're Looking For

  • Final-year university student in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (B2–B2+).
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SAP is a must.
