Purchasing Specialist

Team Overview
Based in Belén Heredia, the Purchasing Specialist must ensure the continuous supply of raw materials, supplies, and/or services in accordance with the company's needs, through the control and management of agreements with suppliers, market analysis, consumption and inventory review, and supplier development; all under the management of purchase orders, monitoring of delivery times, and compliance with technical and quality specifications provided by suppliers.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Analyst is responsible for:

• Ensuring control of due dates as well as updates and terms & conditions of contracts with suppliers.
• Monitoring and controlling the arrival of raw materials and goods and services.
• Managing and debugging the balances of accounting provisions in docuclass.
• Ensuring the creation of purchasing suppliers through the request and documentary management of supplier creation.
• Keep the prices and rates of conventional destinations up to date.
• Coordinate and supervise with the General Warehouse coordinator the delivery/reception of acquired materials.
• Keep the price database of supplies and services up to date.
• Meet the goals, initiatives, and indicators of the corporation and the purchasing department.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the purchasing and supply process.
• Submit timely reports and reports specific to the pricing, supplier, and materials process.

Job Responsibilities
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company's operation, as well as the documentation management for creating suppliers and the legal management of supplier contracts in CR. This position involves coordinating and negotiating with suppliers and performing administrative activities related to the purchasing process.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related area.
• Experience in job-related work, such as Customer Relations, Customer Service, Contract/order management, Commercial processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power BI knowledge.
• Proficiency English level: verbal, written and comprehensive.
• Systemic and integral customer service management approach
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience in commercial, sales and planning related activities.
