Copywriter

Our Copywriters play a key role in the Creative Studio. You will be responding to multiple briefs by crafting compelling, on brand copy which effectively engages our target audience day in, day out.

From coming up with the next big gaming or sports campaign concept, social ideas for the new NFL or NBA season or the next groundbreaking product, to crafting video scripts and promotional copy. As an in-house copywriter you will be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and no two days will be the same.

Responsibilities

• Write clear and effective marketing, ecommerce and social media copy in a distinct tone and style.
• Interpret copywriting briefs, brand guidelines and product information to understand all project requirements across all categories.
• Research product information, pricing and offers as needed to complete assignments.
• Collaborate with marketing, designers, developers, category managers, content authors, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing and ecommerce projects (e.g. email campaigns, social media posts, affiliate ads and net new landing pages)
• Edit and proofread copy as needed produced by other internal and external teams.
• Creation of concepts and ideas for new campaigns, promotions and activities.
• Creating and defining campaign/promotional messaging.
• Concept development.
• Script writing.

Skills & Qualifications needed

• Proven track record for writing strong copy and content.
• An impressive portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create and develop new ideas.
• Experience in working within an internal or agency environment.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure when dealing with high volumes of work.
• A good understanding of producing content for online/social channels.
• Able to multitask and to perform under tight SLAs in an extremely agile work environment.
• A passion for creative writing.
• Excellent English grammar and vocabulary.
• An interest in sports and gaming is desirable.
• Ability to research a new topic/event and write effective content.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a B2C copywriter or related role, with expertise in marketing, content management, promotional and UX writing.
• Passion and dedication for a cohesive and well-articulated customer experience journey.
• A portfolio that demonstrates a strong skill set across a wide range of deliverables.
• Knowledge of online and ecommerce content strategy and creation.
• Strong research skills.
• A quick, creative mind and a collaborative spirit.
• Ability to perform under tight SLAs in an extremely agile work environment.
• Degree in marketing, English, writing or a related field.
