About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Sr. Software Development Engineer to join our Neuromodulation Software Development team of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health industry challenges. As an engineer on the Software Infrastructure, Framework and Tools team you will be collaborating on various exciting projects, ranging from test automation to connectivity projects.

In this role, you will be expected to leverage your extensive experience to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovation within the team. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will be crucial as you navigate the intricacies of software testing and development. By embracing new technologies and methodologies, you will ensure the robustness and reliability of our software solutions, thereby contributing to our mission of improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge neuromodulation technologies. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in achieving our strategic goals and delivering high-quality products to the market.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Create, maintain and validate Python APIs to enable Automated Testing of our Medical Device Software and embedded devices

• Write Unit and Integration Tests to validate and verify APIs

• Create and maintain cloud resources for CI/CD workflows

• Work with cross functional teams to deliver the support regarding key deliverables and interact with them to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

• Work with team members in different regions and time zones

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Python experience

• Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

• Hands-on Experience creating CI/CD workflows

• Comfortable working with different Programming Languages

• Proficient oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with administering DevOps Tool Chain Tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, etc)

• Experience with deploying containers to Kubernetes
