Overview

We are looking for a Google Tag Manager Analyst with strong expertise in web tracking and data visualization. This role will focus on mining and analyzing data from our website using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and frontend tracking implementations, while also developing dashboards in Tableau and communicating actionable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in SQL and a passion for understanding user behavior to improve product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards to monitor user behavior, product performance, and business KPIs.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and marketing teams to analyze user journeys and website interactions.
  • Implement and manage tracking tags via GTM, ensuring accurate data collection from the website.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data stored in the lakehouse.
  • Communicate findings and actionable UX insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to propose data-driven improvements to the user experience.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across tracking, reporting, and dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Tableau (dashboard development, visualization best practices).
  • Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and frontend tracking concepts (events, triggers, data layers).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience in UX analytics and digital product performance measurement.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, lakehouse/warehouse environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of additional BI or web analytics tools is a bonus.
