Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of delinquent accounts and follow up promptly via phone, text, and email
  • Conduct outbound calls to residents regarding past-due balances (30, 60, 90+ days)
  • Negotiate payment arrangements within company guidelines
  • Document all communication in our systems accurately and in real time
  • Review payment history, account status, and notes before contacting each resident
  • Provide clear explanations of charges, statements, and account balances
  • Escalate non-responsive or severely delinquent accounts when needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues or disputes
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies at all times
  • Administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, loss mitigation, or related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with patience and professionalism
  • High attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
  • Experience with CRM or property management software is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with residential or multifamily property collections
  • Familiarity with payment plans, delinquency recovery, or skip tracing
  • Prior experience working in a high-volume collections environment

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • Full-time
  • Remote work with consistent availability during business hours
