Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We've designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We're looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Job Overview
Avionyx is searching for a Finance Data Specialist. The ideal candidate will have well-established data management skills, a firm understanding of best data management practices, and superb analytical abilities. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who balances getting the details right while moving quickly in a results-driven environment. This will be a key position in the maturity of Dynamics D365 and will be managing data from multiple systems.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintenance of financial data to accelerate the processes of data analysis and reporting
  • Effective designing, administration, and visualization of several key relational database models
  • Data integration and ETL processes through development and maintenance of API's.
  • Assist in product lifecycle management workstreams and processes.
  • Manage creation, change management, access, and manipulation of data within ERP systems and external storage locations
  • Managing the development and maintenance of data sources for financial reporting
  • Developing standards of operation when handling and archiving data
  • Maintaining data management plans and instructions for operating complex business systems
  • Contribute to and support key master data design decisions ensuring critical end-to-end processes deliver a comprehensive, global design
  • Conduct current state and future state needs assessments; understand and address gaps that must be addressed during the design and implementation phases of the new ERP platform

Required

  • 4+ years' experience in Data Engineering, Financial Data Analysis, Database Administration, or Data Science
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL
  • Intermediate to advanced Python
  • Good working knowledge of business intelligence tools (Power BI)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of financial data and finance processes (Procure to Pay, Inventory etc.)
  • A drive to overcome any barriers to get the job done
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
