As a PWS Contract Administrator Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison for all contractual phases of projects, ensuring compliance with agreements, purchase orders, budget management, change orders, and the billing process. This role is necessary in optimizing processes and improving operational efficiency within the Power and Water Solutions area.
This position requires diligence, the ability to apply established procedures and concepts, and excellent time management and prioritization skills to support detailed project execution and ensure compliance
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Perform specific order entry functions review which define the commercial and technical aspects of the proposal and customer order being entered.
- Ensured that commercial and contractual requirements of customer purchase orders are met so that financial risk and penalty were reduced, and customer satisfaction was achieved.
- Work together to identify and capitalize on margin improvement opportunities through scope changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Minimize outstanding receivables by proactively identifying issues and implementing effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with division support groups (i.e. Product Support Training, Accounting, Shipping Operations, Renewal Parts, Sales Order entry, etc.) to ensure that all Emerson commitments to customers are met.
- Provide commercial interpretation of commercial and contractual requirements of particular contract or purchase order when requested.
- Prepare regular reports as directed by the Contracts Manager, extracting key data from Oracle, including Change Order Requests (COR), Suspense, Change Notices (C/N) booked and quoted, Margin Improvement, and Project Progress Payments.
- Take ownership for performing tasks as per project management requests, including:
- Handle Cost budget entry & revenue
- Set up projects and tasks in Oracle
- Review & submit customer invoices to project manager for approval
- Ensure all required documentation is accurately stored and organized for both internal and external assessments.
- Stay informed about the project responsibilities of other contract administrators and provide backup support in their absence.
- Proactively suggest and develop process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop strong communication with management regarding financial and contractual matters to support timely issue resolution and informed business decisions.

For this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Project Management, Contract Administration, or a similar role.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Preferred: experience in billing processes, contract management, and administrative operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret requirements, evaluate scenarios, and make informed decisions prior to execution.
- Proficiency in data analysis, particularly in evaluating cost structures, sales margins, and financial performance, combined with clear written interpretation for contractual and business analysis.
- Proven ability to collaborate with customers, ensuring high attention to detail and service quality.
- Excellent organizational and workload management skills, including prioritization and planning.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications that set you a part:
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle (or equivalent billing platforms), as well as proficiency with Adobe tools and knowledge of Power BI, is considered a plus.
