B&T Consulting is recruiting top finance professionals for a biopharmaceutical company expanding to Costa Rica.

As Global Business Process Specialist for Demand to Pay, you will be part of the Business Process Management Organization for Demand to Pay. You will support the continuous global harmonization, standardization, and automation of the Demand-to-Pay processes, especially in Indirect Procurement, specifically SmartProcure (Diabetes Care legacy system).

The role is familiar with the End-to-End processes and uses them as a basis to define, describe, and implement the necessary configurations for each end-user, in consultation with the Global Business Process Managers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a Global Business Process Specialist (GBPS) for processes and solutions in the area of Indirect Procurement, specifically for the Diabetes Care (DC) legacy system environment (SmartProcure).
  • Acting as DC key user for SmartProcure such as supporting Purchase Requisition (PR)/ Purchase Order (PO) questions, PO non-financial corrections, PR/PO closures and invoice issues.
  • Supporting FUSION legal entity integration and ASPIRE project preparation activities such as vendor cleansing and change management.
  • Preparing and executing workshops, describing and aligning potential exceptions/deviations, and initiating the associated IT adjustments.
  • Actively driving and supporting the project-related implementation deliverables concerning requirement gathering, testing, training, and the hypercare phases.
  • Continuous alignment with relevant neighboring projects, initiatives, governance functions, IT, and other stakeholder groups.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Finance / Project and/or Process Management.
  • Strong presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, especially in the area of Indirect Procurement.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to work in complex global networks with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of procurement-related Key Process Indicators (KPIs).
  • Agile Mindset (speed, stability, flexibility). Working according to and contributing the concept of the agile mindset (e.g., SCRUM, LEAN, Kaizen) to daily operations.
