Modern Workplace Technology Support Specialist
Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and optimize modern workplace solutions using Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive. This will include: Incident Resolution and Service Request Fulfilment in the areas of Microsoft Cloud solutions.
  • Responsible for submitting RFCs for any changes in the Microsoft Cloud systems
  • Understanding the company's cloud computing strategy and making recommendations for improvements or new systems.
  • Acting as Product Owner Support by keeping informed of service changes and investigating known issues.
  • Stay current with Microsoft cloud developments Microsoft cloud developments and proactively identify ways to improve user experience, performance, and security.
  • Developing and maintaining an ongoing training program for the business including all FM sites. Training should include CPIM lead sessions and scheduled sessions with Microsoft.
  • Microsoft Teams integrations, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and other collaborative tools.
  • Developing and maintaining all documentation associated with cloud solution applications as necessary.
  • Training and guiding end-users on how to use cloud services and applications effectively.
  • Conception and implementation of IT concepts focused on ITIL-oriented processes around Client Systems
  • Occasional project participation and management
  • Performing software upgrades, as well as routine audits and system backups.
  • Support PMO projects, audits, and eventual change to the methodology.
  • Manages and maintains security roles and user access.
  • Drives the continuous development and improvement of IT internal processes, standards and tools. Leads IT projects and initiatives.
  • Participates in industry group forums and proactively researches new technologies, new business practices, industry standards and trends.
  • Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.
  • Other tasks assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
  • IT discipline experience 3-5 years.
  • Desirable Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
  • ITIL certificated; Power BI Data Analyst Associate; Azure Administrator Associate; Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
  • Proven work experience as a cloud support specialists or similar role.
  • Expertise in On-Prem Active Directory & Azure Active Directory, with knowledge on Conditional Access and Identity Governance.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Experience must include.
  • SharePoint Design & Migration.
  • Teams Design and configuration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power platform.
  • Build custom apps with MS Power Apps.
  • Automate workflows between apps using Power Automate.
  • Provide business intelligence, create reports and create dashboards from various data sources using Power BI.
  • Data modelling, and workspace governance.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security frameworks and compliance tooling.
  • ITIL certificate and/or work experience with ITIL & ITSM Concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to assist and explain cloud technology.
  • Desired, Knowledge of Endpoint Manager / Azure-based infrastructure including identity, virtual desktop (AVD), and endpoint management solutions.
  • Knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services, ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
