Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will be taking care of making sure our mobile products are delivered with the highest standards of quality to our customers. You will be taking care of the quality process through all its phases in a Scrum-based development cycle. From working together with the team to understand our customers' needs translated into user stories, to plan the test strategy for the committed work and its proper test execution as the code is ready for testing. As a team member of an organization going through a digital transformation towards updated technologies and processes, you will be working in continuous initiatives to automate our testing process and will be expected to be as cross functional as possible as the needs of the team require.
In this position, you will:
- Become an active member of a Scrum team.
- Plan Sprint Work together with the team.
- Create test cases for new features.
- Execute manual functional and behavioral testing certifying quality of product to be delivered.
- Collaborate with the team in analysis, backlog grooming sessions.
- Required to keep learning as tech stack evolves
Basic qualifications:
- BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 2 years of experience that includes exposure to full SDLC in a web and mobile development environment.
- Problem-solving orientation
- Experience on conducting QA activities (testing artifacts creation and execution)
- Interpersonal written and verbal communication skills in English
- Adapt and follow company processes.
- Experience testing .NET Framework Web Applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands on experience troubleshooting environment related problems and coordinating fixes with support teams.
- Working experience with Agile / Scrum Framework.
- Knowledgeable of the DevOps mindset
- Experience testing mobile Applications in iOS and Android.
- Experience with test automation frameworks design for web and mobile applications
- Experience with scripting (Ruby, Bash, Powershell, Python)
- Knowledge on Application Security Testing guidelines
- Experience working with test reporting / tracking tools (e.g., Version One, JIRA, TFS)
- Financial services industry expertise
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
- Experience working with large organizations
- CI/CD
