Intermediate Process Engineer

The Intermediate Process Engineer is a position responsible for the creation and maintenance of End-to-End Process documentation across Retail Banking and U.S. Consumer Cards.  The role will play a key part in the facilitation, build out and development of our Business Process Modeling & Notation (BPMN 2.0) program that enables the strengthening, improvement and Risk Management of processes within these groups. The role will involve aspects of process modeling, data management, process maintenance, as well as procedures and infrastructure work within Process Excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrate excellent communication and facilitation skills with executive presence
• Proven ability to complete highly complex projects on time and within budget
• Knowledge of core processes and systems leveraged across the various functions within the firm
• Proven ability to leverage process management principles to drive efficiencies
• Well versed in working in and supporting a heavily integrated team environment with very aggressive timelines, large workload and high demand for accuracy and quality
• Knowledge and experience with CEAM, ICRM, Process Mapping, Citi Risk and Controls a plus
• Self-starter, able to operate with minimal direction, with strong work ethic, passion for learning, and a desire to accomplish tasks with excellence
• Strong collaboration skills. Able to successfully work with diverse functional teams and across multiple markets and geographies. Promotes a culture of teamwork and able to create and foster strong partnerships

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business process mapping and/or enterprise architecture preferred
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
• Proven interpersonal, diplomatic and influencing skills
• Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Process oriented; able to analyze current processes, suggest and define improvements; able to analyze raw data and draw conclusions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to escalate issues to management. Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, team work and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with minimal or offsite supervision.
• Ability to prioritize in a high pressure environment and work under tight deadlines.
• Highly collaborative, team orientated and a strong consensus builder.
• Self-motivated and well organized. Proven track record; ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and make decisions as required.
• Excellent presentation skills and Power Point use.
• Excellent analytical skills including Excel use.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
