Who We Are Looking For?

We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a client project. You should have a strong background in containerization, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies, with deep hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll be building and maintaining containerized systems, managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, and developing automated deployment pipelines. This role requires the ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with engineering teams to improve reliability and delivery workflows. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS using Terraform (IaC)

• Implement best practices for cloud security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance

• Automate configuration management using Ansible and scripting with Python or Bash

• Monitor, log, and visualize system metrics using Prometheus and Grafana

• Manage deployments, rollbacks, and versioning in cloud-native Kubernetes-based systems

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce DevOps principles and enhance delivery workflows

• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles

• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation

• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, Lambda, IAM)

• Experience in scripting/automation using Python and/or Bash

• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first, Agile environment

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud deployments

• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management

• Exposure to legacy CI/CD systems like Jenkins in enterprise environments

• Background in compliance-focused operations (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA)

• Knowledge of advanced multi-cloud or cross-region architecture patterns
