We are seeking a
SAP FI Fixed Asset Consultant
with strong expertise in
SAP FI-AA
and hands-on experience working in
S/4HANA
environments.

This role requires a blended skillset:

  • Technical-functional configuration
    ,
  • Deep knowledge of finance processes

  • Ability to guide business users
    ,
  • Understanding of integrations and deployment activities
    .

The consultant will support global and regional initiatives related to Fixed Assets, ensuring accurate asset accounting processes and alignment with business and financial requirements.

This is not a testing-focused role; the consultant must provide functional expertise, system configuration, problem resolution, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for
    SAP FI-AA
    within S/4HANA environments.
  • Configure and support Fixed Asset processes, including:
  • Asset master data
  • Depreciation areas and keys
  • Asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers
  • Capitalization processes
  • Asset settlements and month-end activities
  • Support integration between FI-AA and other modules:
    FI-GL, CO, MM, PS, and Asset Accounting for capital projects
    .
  • Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate technical fixes with development teams when needed.
  • Analyze financial and operational impacts of asset-related transactions.
  • Participate in blueprint discussions, solution design, configuration reviews, and system enhancements.
  • Support data validation, conversion, and reconciliation activities during deployments or new rollouts.
  • Document functional designs, configuration, and process flows.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FI
    , with
    3+ years specializing in S/4HANA FI-AA
    .
  • Strong configuration experience in FI-AA within S/4HANA (Asset Accounting New).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and fixed asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in finance process environments (Record-to-Report, capital investments, depreciation management).
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and explain technical topics in business terms.
  • Experience delivering functional designs, configuration, and process documentation.
  • English level B2+ or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in global or regional ERP deployments (ASPIRE or similar programs).
  • Knowledge of SAP CO, SAP PS, or capital project accounting.
  • Understanding of asset migration (legacy to S/4HANA).
  • Ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
