Job Description:

What are we building?

Datasite supports high‑value transactions across more than 170 countries. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will design high‑quality data models, lead the creation of business‑critical analytics, and partner with stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment, and OKR outcomes. This role centers on data modeling, SQL, DBT, dashboard development, and translating insights into actionable business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable, accurate data models that support analytics, KPI reporting, and business visibility.
  • Develop and optimize DBT transformations that support creation of datasets for OKR measurement.
  • Build and maintain Sigma BI dashboards and reusable analytics components that empower self‑service decision‑making.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation by implementing validation processes and maintaining clear domain expertise.
  • Conduct advanced SQL‑based analysis to identify trends, diagnose performance changes, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable narratives for business stakeholders, including product, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to define analytical needs, align metric definitions, and support data‑driven prioritization and planning.
  • Mentor and support junior analytics contributors, helping elevate modeling standards, BI best practices, and analytical methodology.

Required Qualifications

  • Expert SQL skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong experience using DBT for transformation modeling.
  • Proficiency with Sigma BI or comparable BI tools.
  • Proven ability to translate business questions into structured analytical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  • Experience with Web Analytics Services such as Pendo/Heap/Google Analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with API‑based or event‑driven data flows (not required).
  • Background in product analytics or experimentation.
  • Exposure to distributed data systems or cloud‑native analytics architectures.
  • Prior mentorship or peer‑development experience.
  • Experience with LLMs, Snowflake Cortex, and or experience delivering AI Solutions in a BI setting.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake partitioning, clustering, and understanding of query performance within Snowflake
