Role Objectives
Apply extensive knowledge of job skills, company policies, and procedures to complete tasks or assignments. Possess a comprehensive understanding of both general and technical aspects of the job. Work on complex assignments that require significant judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized expertise to solve problems and develop recommended solutions.
Efficiently manage supply chain processes to ensure optimal part availability, meet customer obligations, and maintain a balance between cost, inventory, and customer experience. This involves leading activities such as supply planning, excess and obsolescence management, collaborating with global teams to improve processes, reviewing business metrics, and taking actions to achieve established objectives. Additionally, the role is expected to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop relevant recommendations.
The role also includes contractual planning activities and supporting buy/sell processes in accordance with business guidelines.
Responsibilities
Manage a wide range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as demand and supply planning activities for multiple complex SKUs, ensuring that performance (inventory, cost, service level, etc.) meets overall business needs. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Demand forecasting
- Supply planning
- Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) management
- Successful material launch and sustainment to support new product introductions
- EOSL (End of Service Life) and LTB (Last Time Buy) material management
- Contractual planning and support for buy/sell activities
- Risk monitoring and mitigation
- Ensure optimal part availability across the network for all assigned parts, fulfilling customer obligations
- Execute actions to support supply chain products throughout the parts' lifecycle
- Achieve balanced performance between part availability, customer experience, and cost/inventory
- Perform deep backorder analysis, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Analyze backlog and manage escalations
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to create and improve business processes
- Conduct periodic business metric reviews and take actions to meet or exceed targets
- Work closely with the partner management team to ensure alignment and service material supply assurance
- Work closely with the country network inventory management team to ensure LOF (Level of Fulfillment) requirements and other service material needs are met
- Ensure clear and effective communication with Global BU Planning teams for requirements and guideline alignment
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop recommendations
- Perform any other responsibility assigned by the company, provided it aligns with the nature of this contract
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts within a working window from
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Salary:
CRC 800,000 monthly - Work Modality:
Hybrid
(on-site and remote work combination)
Requirements
- Education:
University student or completed degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields) - Experience:
Minimum
4 years of experience
in supply chain, planning, inventory management, or similar fields - Language:
Fluent English (required) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Tools and Systems
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, data analysis)
- Power BI or other visualization tools
- SAP or similar supply chain systems
- Knowledge of Servigistics (preferred)
- Experience with data management and reporting tools
