Inside Account Representative

Overview:

The Inside Account Representative plays a crucial role within the sales organization at Shyft Global Services-TD Synnex. This position focuses on delivering results and providing exceptional customer service to our partners by managing essential processes to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales goals. An Inside Account Representative will work with a book of accounts, owning daily contact and proactively driving revenue and profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand basic terminology and concepts associated with account management.
• Generate opportunities through outbound calling to assigned customer territory and potential new customer targets.
• Possess the ability to maintain focus and productivity particularly during periods of high workload and tight deadlines
• Process sales orders, promotional requests, and quotes efficiently.
• Conduct data entry, manage email follow-ups, and maintain database management and order tracking.
• Handle routine inbound and outbound sales calls to quote prices and place orders for products and services, ensuring daily and quarterly sales targets are achieved.
• Address customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and shipping or service issues, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain daily transactional engagement with customers and internal partners, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain detailed account profiles for the territory and identify opportunities for additional Shyft Global Services-TD Synnex solution offerings.
• Represent Shyft Global Services-TD Synnex professionally in all interactions with business partners and customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to build solid and effective working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to conduct business analysis, identify opportunities for additional revenues, and perform account planning.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and other local/regional languages.
• Adaptability to change and willingness to adjust as needed.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, databases).
• Ability to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
• Commitment to providing courteous and timely service when addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Ability to adapt to change in a high-paced work environment.

Educational Requirements:

• Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
