We are looking for an
Accounting Supervisor
to oversee a portfolio of small clients and support the coordination and development of the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate accounting services provided to a portfolio of small clients
- Ensure accurate execution of the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Manage tax compliance processes, including tax filings and payroll
- Use and manage Costa Rican government platforms, including
TRIBU - Provide guidance, training, and support to junior staff
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Coordinate tasks effectively within the team and across departments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Licenciatura) in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle
- Experience in taxes and payroll
- Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
- Strong teaching and mentoring abilities
- Outstanding customer service orientation
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in call centers or client service environments
Work Modality:
