The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of products and services, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and local regulations. This role directly supports the organization's financial health by managing efficient billing processes and providing support to internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate, review, and issue invoices in accordance with company policies and local tax regulations.
  • Validate customer data, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Manage adjustments, credit notes, and resolve discrepancies in coordination with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assist with payment reconciliation.
  • Maintain updated records in ERP systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Meet established deadlines and report key metrics related to billing and collections.

General Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in billing processes and ERP system management.
  • Knowledge of Costa Rican tax regulations and accounting best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
