SEO Manager  San Jose, Costa Rica We are hiring an SEO Manager whose primary responsibility is to maximize Google page rankings across all targeted keywords and properties. This role requires a hands-on SEO expert with strong technical skills, proven ranking results, and deep experience in affiliate marketing, sports, and gaming. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of affiliate marketing experience, advanced on-page SEO abilities, strong WordPress skills, and is capable of leading a team while executing high-impact ranking strategies. Expertise in AI Search & Snippet optimization is required. Core Responsibilities Own and execute all strategies focused on improving Google rankings. Lead and manage an SEO team; set ranking-focused KPIs and timelines. Perform hands-on on-page optimization, including technical fixes, schema, site speed, internal linking, and content updates. Oversee onsite and offsite SEO initiatives with a focus on ranking improvements. Conduct keyword research, intent analysis, and competitor audits centered on ranking opportunities. Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in WordPress and across all platforms. Optimize content, landing pages, and paid search copy for maximum ranking impact. Manage link-building and authority-building efforts. Implement AI-driven Search & Snippet optimization methods to increase SERP visibility. Track and report ranking movements, traffic, and performance metrics. Collaborate with content, social, and product teams to support ranking-focused initiatives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Google algorithm changes and core SEO updates. Requirements 5+ years of affiliate marketing experience (sports, iGaming, or sportsbook preferred). Strong track record improving Google page rankings in competitive niches. Advanced on-page and technical SEO capabilities. Strong WordPress skills, including performance optimization and structure management. Solid sports and gaming knowledge. Experience with AI search, snippets, structured data, and SERP feature optimization. Proficient in HTML/CSS. Skilled with SEO and analytics tools (Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, Data Studio, Tag Manager). Strong communication and team-leadership skills. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.Availability to work 4 days per week on-site
