Our team, Systems and Solutions Engineering, is responsible for developing and integrating advanced Storage technologies into IPU to provide an end-to-end storage solutions for the cloud datacenters.
As a System Software Validation Engineer, you will develop test scripts to validate the NVMe Over Fabrics and RDMA solutions on a reference FPGA platform. These reference solutions are then delivered for integration into customer platforms. In this role, you will not only validate the solution but will play a crucial role in demonstrating the technology in order to win new customers.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Integrates, validates, and debugs software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology. Designs and develops a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack.
- Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures. Writes validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, triages failures, and recommends or develops corrective action.
- Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.
- Self-motivated individual willing to take and follow directions and deliver to schedule
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or related field.
6+ months of experience or relevant course work in:
- Computer Architecture and Networking
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python and/or Bash scripting
- Experience with Linux OS
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or related field.
- Experience with PCIe system architecture and linux device drivers
- Exposure to test scripts/data collection and performance benchmarking
