In view of heightened expectations from regulators, and to ensure a strong and consistent global control environment, the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) business has implemented a global solution to prevent regulatory violations during Cross-Jurisdictional Travel (CJT), across the ICG. The Operational Risk Senior Analyst is an integral part of the overall solution ensuring compliance to the Cross-Jurisdictional Travel Standard. This role will be primarily responsible for monitoring ICG travelers (senior bankers and personnel) and reporting compliance metrics to Citi risk systems and stakeholders. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within the team. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide formal/informal leadership and guidance to junior team members and daily assignments to the team
Deliver on-going monitoring results to cross ICG-business leaders, escalate emerging risk items and identify systemic and manual control breaks through account activity monitoring
Escalate non-compliant travelers to management/Independent Compliance as needed
Document evidence/rationale for not requiring compliance as needed
Support travelers with queries on the standard and supporting system
Generate of compliance monitoring artifacts/reports for Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) and Independent Compliance
Identify opportunities and design requirements to simplify / standardize processes for automation
Utilize data analytics and visualization techniques (e.g., Tableau) to gain insights for management review

**Qualifications**:
5-8 years relevant experience in risk, compliance, audit or regulatory functions.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and adapt to change.
Problem solver with the ability to translate plans in actions
Preferred experience with Excel, Tableau and other data processing and analysis tools
Proven track record of success and growth in Business Intelligence, Visual Analytics, and Data Analysis
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Advance English (mandatory)

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
