We are searching for a driven and multifaceted Financial Analyst with a passion for data, analytics and problem solving to join the team.
- The FP&A team supports the CFO and Moody’s Analitycs Executive Leadership Team in strategy, budgeting, forecasting and decision support.

**Functional Responsibilities**:

- Prepare analyses to support monthly/quarterly forecast, annual business planning and strategic planning process for the responsible Operating Unit.
- Build recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data driven decisions
- Prepare monthly reports, conduct variance analysis, and identify variance causes and business drivers; partner with sales operations and revenue teams to identify large variances and solve revenue questions
- Build clear compelling executive narratives to business and finance management
- Improve reporting capabilities and standardize monthly reporting packages by using Power BI and other technology tools
- Participate in the development of business case models as part of the financial investment review process

**Scope/Supervision and Interaction**:

- Interaction with Business and Corporate Planning colleagues, Accounting, Treasury, HR, and business line representatives
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline or progress toward equivalent accountancy qualification
- 3-5 years experience in FP&A
- Experience working with Hyperion and Power BI

**Key Proficiencies**:

- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
