**POWER GENERATION FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - LEVEL I**

**Description**

Executes repairs and rebuilds on power generation products in a service workshop under supervision

Applies documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and scheduled maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools

Disassemble power generation equipment

Assists with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens

Completes training in line with skill and business requirements

Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation

Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

Aplicación de diagnóstico - Traduce quejas de clientes p/ desarrollar plan de solución de prob.; soluciona el prob. después de flujos de trabajo guiados, procedimientos, equipos especializados como hmtas. de servicio mecánicas y electr., y diagnostica software de PC p/ aislar componentes fallidos p/ permitir reparación exitosa; valida reparación duplicando la queja p/ asegurar que se ha resuelto; documenta resultados de solución de prob. en sist. comerciales p/ comunicar lo que se ha hecho p/ pago y seguimiento histórico.

Aplicación de herramienta de servicio electrónico - Identifica el conjunto de herramientas de hardware y software disponibles que se requieren para un evento de servicio; utiliza el conjunto de herramientas electrónicas apropiado para mantener el producto o diagnosticar y solucionar un problema; interpreta los resultados de las herramientas electrónicas o recomendaciones para determinar los próximos pasos para la resolución del servicio.

Reparación y mantenimiento de productos - Repara y mantiene productos mecánicos/eléctricos siguiendo las pautas y usando las herramientas en un tiempo de reparación estándar para asegurar la calidad; desmonta y ensambla motores siguiendo las pautas y utilizando las herramientas necesarias para asegurar un entorno limpio y organizado; inspecciona y reemplaza partes siguiendo las pautas usadas anteriormente para minimizar el costo de propiedad del cliente; realiza control de daños siguiendo las pautas para volver al estado inicial.

Conocimientos de sistemas de generación de energía - Demuestra conocimientos de los estándares de Cummins y la industria al cumplir con todos los métodos de trabajo seguro incluido el equipo de protección personal para crear un entorno de trabajo seguro; interpreta y analiza el sistema de operación e integración de generación de energía aplicando herramientas, publicaciones de servicios (Cummins, fabricante de equipos originales) y tomando medidas para diagnosticar y reparar de forma eficaz y correcta.

Aspectos básicos de la salud y la seguridad - Defiende y modela conductas proactivas de salud y seguridad al identificar, informar y participar en medidas para mejorar la salud y la seguridad con el fin de crear una cultura interdependiente y contribuir a un lugar de trabajo libre de lesiones.
