**Overview**:

- Has responsibilities for the role of a Systems Engineer and is also responsible for supervising and directing the daily activities of the Systems Engineering team.
- This role coordinates the daily activities within support department.
- Schedules employees to meet department needs and daily goals within the Systems Engineering group.
- Works with management team to develop and implement business strategies.
- The role accepts ownership of suggested improvements and works with the TD SYNNEX team, vendor, and Systems Engineering Management to develop an implementation plan.
- Supervisory Responsibilities Oversees the daily performance of Systems Engineering employees.
- Ensures compliance to policies and procedures.
- Handles all issues affecting daily performance, communicating with other departments and outside sources as required to resolve issues.
- Interacts with management team to resolve performance issues.
- Follows up daily with team and individuals as necessary, directing focus to specific areas of concern.
- Provides System Engineering employees with positive and constructive feedback.
- Completes annual performance appraisals. Reporting / Analysis Prepares reports that measure performance and service levels against goals and key performance indicators. Analyzes trends and performance to goals. Proactively monitors goals and key performance indicators.
- Reports on key metrics as designated by SE Manager and distributes monthly update to SE Manager Process Improvement Identifies and eliminates redundant or ineffective procedures within area of responsibility. Identifies and implements process and procedure improvements that increase efficiency.
- Identifies opportunities to improve the quality of Systems Engineering engagement with inside and outside customers Operations Responsibilities Provides phone support in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provides technical presentations/training to sales, support, and customers.
- Participates in projects in leadership/ownership role. Logs customer calls.
- Promotes product awareness, provides pre-sales technical support including phone support, system diagrams, proposals, and training in order to grow the sales of a funding vendor's product line.
- Works closely with TD SYNNEX's Product Manager and the funding vendor's representatives to execute marketing activities.
- Establishes and develops solid business relationships with vendors, TD SYNNEX customers and other internal TD SYNNEX departments.
- Technical Expertise / Responsibilities Updates TD SYNNEX's systems and tools with accurate technical data as required.
- Provides technical and non-technical input to team members, project leaders, and management, as appropriate.
- Provides technical solutions and configuration design expertise to customers and sales on specified product line(s).
- Uses independent judgment and discretion in making solution recommendations. No second-level review occurs.
- Oversees training for Costa Rica technical resources including providing team with updated technical data on specific product lines.
- Stays current with vendor-specific technical certifications in order to make appropriate recommendations to resellers on the configuration and design of system solutions.
- Performs other additional duties as assigned.
- Travels to perform and receive training as required to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
