- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a operations support environment
- Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookups)
- Experience working with a queue of requests with SLA and accuracy targets

Job summary
Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is looking for an Operations Analyst in Costa Rica with deep operational background to assist the Sales Operations team in supporting our AWS field sales teams. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across multiple geographies. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively to solve operational problems, successfully meet SLA and accuracy targets, and are comfortable working from a ticket queue.

Key job responsibilities
- Serves as trusted advisor and support for Sales Operations and Sales teams pertaining to account management concerns and executes simple account segmentation requests
- Quickly analyze root causes for tool and system access concerns and establish next steps to be communicated appropriately to internal stakeholders
- Accurate and timely execution of manual workflows to support larger Sales Operations mechanisms
- Provides input on sales operations processes based on sales feedback, ticket volume and ticket type
- Works with other cross functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Performs regular governance checks and data validation to achieve data consistency
- Occasionally retrieve and evaluate data using Excel and other data management/BI systems
- Provide ad-hoc support and reports
- Functional experience with quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
- Highly organized, excellent multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
