**Job Description**:

- Perform daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, test case design, etc.)
- Perform functional testing
- Analyze requirements and keep track of the new requirements for the project
- Employ specs/use cases/business rules to develop test cases and scripts
- Report critical issues and work with superiors to resolve them
- Prepare and update QA documents for testing

**Qualifications**:

- Student of software engineering or related with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship
- Must be willing and able to work with Quality assurance tasks and gain understanding and experience in software testing methodologies, with tasks as creating test scenarios according to requirements, creating test data, validating bugs and developing test scripts.
- Ability to be receptive to learn and work with new technologies sharing knowledge with the team or participating on capability initiatives
- Strong computer science fundamentals as object-oriented design skills
- Experience in one or more of the following developer skills: (Java or.net C#) [required one of them], Python, Ruby, Java Script
- Familiarity on databases as MySQL or SQL, being able to recognize concepts and relations
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of requirements and translate them into practical engineering tasks
- Strong debugging, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Good verbal and written assertive communication skills in English
- Must be proactive, committed, adaptable and someone that takes ownership over the tasks, having always the best attitude to learn new things
**Desirables**
- Desirable experience doing unit testing
- Desirable familiarity on agile methodologies as scrum
- Desirable Familiarity with code versioning tools as Git
