Overview
We’re currently seeking a Data Analyst to join the Procurement organization in Huntsman GBS CR office located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is interested in joining a growing organization within the company and helping to establish the patterns and practices of the team. The role is integral in assisting to develop and supporting multiple departments in the company along the journey of data analytics, visualizations, robotics process automation, machine learning and more. This is a growth role on projects/matters of limited complexity and closely managed.

**Responsibilities**:- Design, build & deploy scalable, repeatable, and simple data solutions.- Assist with delivering informative and effective actionable insights, findings, results, and recommendations from statistical analysis to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical audiences.- Assist with translation of business objectives and priorities to help build a strategic analysis.- Develop presentations around insights that can be understood by a variety of audiences - strategic, tactical, operational; and across functions - commercial, operations, finance, etc.- Collaborate across teams to solve challenging, high-value analytical problems.- Provide data related trainings & support to Procurement teams.- Review existing data infrastructures (i.e. master data, hierarchies) system, process & reports; Propose, implement & deploy improvements- Know or learn about Procurement systems & processes- Partner with key business areas to translate insights into solutions that can be validated and implemented
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent/related degree.- 0-5 years of related experience- Advanced English, both written and spoken- Knowledge of MS Power BI and SAP Webi- Knowledge and experience of SAP or ERP system- Strong computer skills using Excel and PowerPoint- Programming experience such as SQL, VBA, R, or Python is preferred- Very strong analytical and numerical skills- Experience with data visualization- Critical view on data accuracy- A good understanding of data visualization tools and database interfaces.- Knowledge of statistics & willingness to learn new data technologies- Knack for automation
