Role/Responsibilities
The FP&A team is looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual who has passion in leveraging Business Intelligence tools to provide financial analytics and reporting support to Moody’s Investors Service (MIS) consolidation and analytics management, develop and manage dashboards and financial models, and implement automation initiatives.**Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage MIS consolidated interactive dashboards and operational analytics to highlight the status of key performance indicators and provide insightful information to business and Finance management
- Support enhancement of operational processes
- Identify process commonalities to align similar activities, where possible
- Recommend enhancements to current processes and reporting
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by Finance management
Scope/Supervision and Interaction
- Makes decisions appropriate for the level of responsibility
- Raises concerns to the appropriate level of management and keeps management informed of activities
- Interacts with all other MIS Business Planning groups, Corporate Planning, Accounting and Finance organization, Hyperion Systems group, and business line representatives
**Qualifications**:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Financial Engineering
- 1- 3 years of relevant financial experience with planning and analysis processes is preferred
- Proficiency of reading/writing codes for financial models
- Experience and strong skills in using Business Intelligence tools
**Key competencies**:
- Passionate and willing to learn new skills with high-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop interactive dashboards or financial models using macro, Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Advanced English in both written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statement reporting
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with competing priorities
- Strong understanding of workflows and proactive in process improvement
