Job Description:

The position is part of the Americas Credit Management services and is responsible for:
- Manage the collection of accounts in an assigned portfolio to ensure compliance with payment terms and credit limits utilizing ERP System FSCM and SAP- Assist team in achieving annual targets on collections and credit risk assessments- Perform credit reviews for new/existing customers in accordance with Global Credit Policy- Approve credit limits based on delegation of authority which is based on internal risk rating, assist another senior analyst with a portfolio of hundreds of customers with AR of approximately $200M- Make recommendations to management for approvals above delegated authority limits- Independent financial statement analysis skills and experience required- Technical skills with credit risk monitor and D&B a plus- Utilize internal credit risk models to interpret financial risk and assign internal risk ratings- Monitor and approve sales orders on credit hold- Assist other team members in preparing global credit reviews for large multinational customers interacting with global credit team- Frequent interaction with internal sales manager and customer service- Support SOX, Audit and Compliance as required.- Follow instructions and perform other related functions as may be assigned by the manager.- Participates and completes Huntsman company required compliance training program.- Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by Huntsman.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / accounting- At least 3+ years relevant experience in the industrial credit field, preferably Petrochemical- Knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis. (i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, & Cash Flow Statement)- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be goal driven- Strong interpersonal & communication skills- Fluent written & spoken English and Spanish. Portuguese and other languages is a plus- Master’s degree in Finance/ accounting is a plus.
