The Data Mgmt Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams. **Responsibilities**: - Responsible for coordinating control activities for the reconciliations and proof functions performed daily by the group. - Monitors the aged general ledger accounts. - Researches and refers open items, resolves problems, the - Reports on daily performance of the Transaction Authentication Function (MIFT), running daily and weekly reports, creating weekly MIS reporting, and participating in projects that affect the proof and recon functions. - Revises and updates department procedures is required. - Finance or expertise / knowledge in the following retail products (Cards, Mortgages, Personal loans and deposits) - Outside the box thinker and change agent - must be able to move the business in the new directions - Familiarity with the Citi Finance Systems ( Genesis, Full Suite and Pearl) is a plus. - Critical risk analysis with the ability to design permanent, systemic fixes that will exceed audit scrutiny. - Excellent skills in communicating change and hosting training sessions - Experience with Visio, excel, power point and Project management software **Qualifications**: - 2-5 Years of Data Management Experience, Analytical skills, problem solving, basic computer skills - Advanced English **Education**: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
