Accounting Bachelor Degree or related field with 4+ or more years of experience.
- Experience in month end closing of books of accounts / working on various sub-ledgers / accounting knowledge / balance sheet reconciliation & reporting activities
- Previous experience in Statutory Accounting activities for LATAM countries, special focus in Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama, but it is not limited as the team is expanding its services.
- Knowledge of financial controls and procedures.
- Basic taxes and local regulations understanding.
- Advanced English level
- Advanced Excel skills
The Accounting Analyst in this position will be responsible of month end close activities for multiple accounts, preparation of monthly/quarterly/annually statutory reconciliations, statutory reports, and balance sheet analysis. This position will be key in supporting Accounting Leadership in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies.
- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications
- Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Preferred Chartered Public Accounting certified locally in Costa Rica and/or Colombia’s board
- Tax experience/knowledge in LATAM countries
- IFRS/USGAAP general knowledge
- Experience in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controller-ship with measurable results experience
