Akamais Infrastructure Services team is responsible for provisioning, managing, and supporting the Corporate IT infrastructure which is consumed by internal business functions.

As a member of the Infrastructure Services team, you are responsible for handling day-to-day support operations of Linux & Windows Servers that are part of Corporate IT.

Akamais Infrastructure Services team is looking for a Systems Administrator who is responsible for operational support of Linux/Windows Server Infrastructure and delivering IT support services effectively and efficiently. You will also resolve problems and issues with servers to limit work disruptions within the company.

As a Systems Administrator UNIX, you will be responsible for:

- Deploying and configuring Linux/Windows Server Operating System as per project needs.
- Providing on-going administration support of Linux/Windows Operating Server system.
- Using our system resource utilization and monitoring tools to identify potential problem areas before they result in incidents.
- Performing Root Cause Analysis of repeat Incidents.
**Do what you love**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent.
- Have overall, 3-4 years of experience in the Windows and Linux Server Technical Support.
- Have 3 years of hand-on technical experience in Supporting Windows and Linux Technologies.
- Demonstrate experience on Linux/Windows Server Administration, User/computer Account Management and Access rights management.
- Show experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux/Windows Servers.
- Be able to troubleshoot Files system, Disk Management, and start-up scripts on Linux servers.
