**Position Summary**
We are looking for someone creative and driven to join our Sales Development team. You will help grow our pipeline by engaging with prospects and customers to move them forward in the sales process. This is a meaningful position at the top of our sales funnel, so you'll have a great opportunity to develop and advance your career in sales.
You'll be successful as a Sales Development Representative because you thrive in a dynamic team environment and are excited to develop your sales career in a SaaS-based high tech company that has an ever-growing demand for its solutions. You will be joining a team that supports development and provides you with the tools, resources, and leadership to be successful.
**What You'll Do**
- Pre-qualify opportunities by assessing mutual interest and purchasing power
- Work closely with Enterprise Sales Representatives to develop strategies to target prospects and secure meetings
- Achieve quarterly quotas of sales qualified opportunities
**Must Have**
- Previous work experience in inbound and outbound calls and inquiries
- Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology and to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations\
**Nice to Have**
- Experience working in cybersecurity
- Experience with sales automation and outreach tools e.g. SalesLoft, Groove, LinkedIn a plus
