The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Product Application Customer Experience Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Communicating clearly and professionally via telephone, live chat and/or written correspondence
- SME within designated division, will have an in-depth knowledge of products, resources and contacts.
- Will develop processes and best practices within team functions
- Handles non-routine and difficult inquires/issues. Adapts to differing soft skill techniques and methods to develop solutions for a variety of complex issues
- Acts as the primary liaison with 3M customers
- Communicate clearly and professionally by telephone, live agent chat and/or written correspondence
- Accurately documents customer interactions using applicable CRM systems
- Develops and leads improvements and/or solutions to work processes and tools
- Links projects to business strategies and initiates actions that deliver results
- Resolves non-routine inquiries/issues and ensures response to products and services. Has knowledge and understanding of the current processing systems, and can provide service to internal and external customers
- Understands policies and regulations, investigates issues with proper research and communicates with other departments and providers
- Improves customer satisfaction by identifying patterns and barriers to solutions by turning a negative situation into a mutually beneficial outcome
- Must be dependable and able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- One (1) combined year experience engaging, servicing and/or selling to customers/clients in a private, public, government, or military environment
- English level: 90% proficiency (written and spoken).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Knowledge of SalesForce CRM
- Possesses exceptional customer service competencies
- Enjoys helping and interaction with other people in a friendly, courteous manner and gives continuous attention to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in high-volume, rapidly changing environment
- Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgement of discretion
- Previous 3M experience/knowledge with in our systems, processes and businesses
- Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues quickly before they become problems.
- Ability to work in a high volume rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadership.
- Strong Active Listening skills.
- Ability to follow through with commitments and show concern for the needs of others.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products, 3M Customer Service systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to stay focused on prioritized tasks.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion.
- Ability to handle work-related stress; handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and meet deadlines
